Our volunteers provide critical support to Marlee’s Misfits. We have many different ways you can help us to save cats.
- Cleaning the cat room
- Help with cleaning the cat room in the mornings, involves sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, moving lightweight furniture, washing dishes, taking out trash, and scooping litter boxes. Need to be able to lift 20-30 pounds, can work around that if needed. Does require going up and down stairs.
- Laundry
- Help with laundry, you can pick up laundry when you are able and return it within a few days. We will provide the soap, but you’re also welcome to use your own.
- Transporting cats
- Help transport cats to vet appointments and/or bring them in from our rescue partners.
- Grant writing
- We are currently working on establishing this position. This role will help us apply to grants to ensure we have the resources to continue saving cats.

We are currently working on modernizing our volunteer management system. After filling out the form above we will reach out to you to talk about the opportunities. We typically do a one to two week trial with volunteers to make sure it is a good fit for both of us.
