Marlee’s Misfits

Marlee’s Misfits began in summer 2024 to help us better serve our adoptable cats. Our focus is on care for seniors, cats with special needs, and medical emergencies.

We provide housing and care for cats from high-risk shelters, owner surrenders, and overcrowded cat rescues.

In 2025 so far we have pulled 134 cats from high risk, overcrowded, and rural shelters and situations To date we have had 101 adopted through Marlee’s.

We provide behavioral and medical support for cats deemed “less adoptable” due to age, illness, or injury.

Funds raised are used to provide supplies and vet care for rescue cats, most of whom are housed at Mount Purrnon Cat Café. Other funds are used to help cats at other rescues, as well as provide education and outreach.
